     A comparative study of global function optimization and population migration shows that there are similarities between the two processes.In this paper‚a new search algorithm for global optimization—population migration algorithm(PMA) is proposed by the simulation of population migration.The algorithm mainly simulates population transition with economics and dispersion with population pressure increment‚the former encourages the algorithm to search in a region with good solutions‚the latter avoids getting stuck in a local optimum to a certain degree.Numerical experiment proves the global optimization capability of PMA.

    This paper presents the image measurement and analysis method with computed tomography for polymer in solid conveying.It utilizes the knowledge of nuclear physics‚photo-electricity‚polymer physics‚computer technology and mathematics synthetically‚the polymer morphology in solid conveying can be visually obtained by the interaction of polymer atom or polymer chain and the photon beam caused by γ-ray‚in which the photoemission‚Compton effect and electron pair effect will be generated.The experimental results indicate the method can not only measure the deformation and morphology of polymer in the way of non-open‚non-destroy and on-line‚but also find the relationship between the morphology and the mechanical properties of polymer in solid conveying.

     A new directional feature extraction approach based on stroke directional decomposition of a Chinese character is proposed.Without extracting the skeleton or contour of the character‚the four directional sub-patterns‚namely‚horizontal‚vertical‚left up diagonal and right up diagonal sub-patterns are obtained directly by analyzing the stroke directional characteristics of the character.Then five kinds of elastic meshing methods are presented to extract cellular directional features.Finally‚experiments on handwritten samples from HCL2000are carried on which prove the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

     A new type of Fe2+ ‚Ni 2+and Cr 3+ chloride aqueous plating bath‚which is environmentally harmless‚steady and excellent‚has been proposed for the electrodeposition of amorphous Fe-N- i Cr alloy containing45%~55% Fe‚33%~37% Ni and9%~23% Cr(mass fraction).The method of the electrodeposition of amorphous Fe-N- i Cr alloys has been optimized through orthogonal experiment‚and amorphous Fe-N- i Cr alloy deposits with a mirror-like appearance‚which contains54.4% Fe‚33.9% Ni and11.7% Cr(mass fraction) and with the microhardness(HV) up to560and the thickness up to11.3 μ m‚were obtained at room temperature and with20min electroplating.Inductively Couple Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES)‚X-ray Diffraction (XRD)‚Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and X-Ray Spectrometry were used to characterize the properties of the Fe-N- i Cr alloy deposits.Experimental results show that the effects of electrolyte factors on the composition of the Fe-N- i Cr alloy deposits are distinct‚while the effects of electrodeposition operation conditions on the physical properties of the alloy deposits are distinct.Only in the case of the stabilizer H-W being used in the plating baths‚is chrominium presented in the alloy deposits.Because of the mixed effect of stabilizer H-W and additives‚Fe-N- i Cr alloy deposits obtained by the novel technology are amorphous.

    Four Polystictus versicolor strains such as PVC0‚PVC1‚PVC2and PVC3were examined for their ability to decolorize refinery effluent‚which contains Melanoidin‚HADP’S and Caramel.The preparation ability of the four strains for mycelium polysaccarride was also studied.The results show that Polystictus versicolor has high decolorization ability on effluent‚and can produce mycelium PSK and extracellular PSK at the same time.Colorants will not cause the change of PSK structure‚and PVC0 is the best strain for decolorization and PSK preparation.

    Thermomonospora fusca was chosen as an original strain for screening high yield cellulase mutants.Spora suspension of the organism was treatment with UV for60s and80s alternately.A high cellulase-producing mutant strain PE-211was obtained by screening using the methods of transparent zone and shaking culture.The activity of mutant strains PE-211was enhanced for more than one time comparing with that of the original strain.The CMCase-producing conditions of PE-211were studied too.

     Ful- l frontal crash simulations of a car’s tubular frame bodywork developed on our own responsibility are conducted by using nonlinear CAE tools.Time histories of deformation and main collisional parameters are obtained and analyzed.Partial improvements and modifications of the frame are made according to simulation results‚which indicate that such novel car body is capable of coming up to collision safety regulations.

    A model of sem- i rigid guardrails under impact loading was built by using LS-DYNA FEM (Finite Element Method) software.The loading-heading’s acceleration-time curves‚velocity-time curves and the guardrail’s total energy absorbing capacity were obtained and compared with experimental mea surements under impact.The results show that FEM is an effective way in the analysis of mechanical behavior of guardrails‚This research provides the base of the further investigation of energy absorption and optimization of structure design of guardrail system under impact loading.

     The rupture in the middle of bulk cargo is due to the corrosion and fatigue of components in long term usage‚which leads the section modulus to reduce and the general longitudinal strength to weaken.In this paper‚through the research of the rupture of an old bulk cargo in middle‚a new method named “test -calculated section modulus method” was proposed.The method is easy to realize.Comparing with the “zone thickness-survey method”‚the method proposed here proves reasonable.

    In this paper, the working characteristic of the core of discontinuous-tube-in-core concrete filled steel tubular column-slab joint under axial compression is analysed, the formula for the joint’s bearing capacity under axial compression adapting to engineering application is proposed, which is conservatively used to evaluate the result of the experiments.The construction details of the new-type joint are also discussed for reference in engineering practice.

    A new method of electrochemical extraction of oxygen from air was studied in this paper.The extraction system consists of undivided cells with a nickel anode, a carbon-polyterfluoroethylene air-fed cathode and KOH solution as electrolyte.The concentrations of ions in electrolyte were measured by normal analysis method, and the content of oxygen in electrolysis gas was measured by gas chromatography.The experimental results show that the energy consumption to extract 1 kg oxygen is 1. 56~1. 86kW·h.The volume fractiom of oxygen in electrolysis gas is99.8% above.The cells reaction mainly is that OH- and HO2- ions are electrogenerated at cathode and are also anodically decomposed to release oxygen at anode.

    In this paper, the theory of energy conservation of thermal channel is briefed, and the thermal calculating model of glazing curtain wall with thermal channel is concluded.Then the equation parameters of the thermal calculating model are ascertained, and the results of calculation and measurement are introduced too.The temperature on the wall of either outside or inside glazing, the temperature and velocity of air through the thermal channel, and the rate of heat gain in room can be calculated by the calculating model, which may be helpful to correlative engineering calculation.

    In this paper, by adding inorganic bactericide and pore-making agent with a proper proportioninto raw ceramic powder, the bactericidal porous ceramic with excellent bactericidal property can be made.The preparation technique and bactericidal property of the porous ceramic are studied.The results of bactericidal tests show that the bactericidal rate of this material is 97. 5%;The bactericidal ability increases with the increasing of bactericide content, the decreasing of the sintering time, and the increasing of porous rate and soaking time.
