Abstract: The remote monitoring and controlling system for a large scale metallurgical microscope is introduced in this paper.This system transmits control signal by WAN(Wide Area Network)‚and controls the metallurgical microscope remotely by micro-controller and computer.The dynamic self-adaptive coding arithmetic is also put forward in this paper‚thereby resolves the contradiction between transmission speed and data quantity‚and realizes the rea- l time transmission of digital video signal.
