Crash Simulation Analysis for Sedan Car’s Tubular Frame Bodywork

Abstract:  Ful- l frontal crash simulations of a car’s tubular frame bodywork developed on our own responsibility are conducted by using nonlinear CAE tools.Time histories of deformation and main collisional parameters are obtained and analyzed.Partial improvements and modifications of the frame are made according to simulation results‚which indicate that such novel car body is capable of coming up to collision safety regulations.
