Abstract: In this paper, by adding inorganic bactericide and pore-making agent with a proper proportioninto raw ceramic powder, the bactericidal porous ceramic with excellent bactericidal property can be made．The preparation technique and bactericidal property of the porous ceramic are studied．The results of bactericidal tests show that the bactericidal rate of this material is 97. 5％；The bactericidal ability increases with the increasing of bactericide content, the decreasing of the sintering time, and the increasing of porous rate and soaking time．
