Axial Bearing Properties of the New-type Concrete Filled Steel Tubular Column-slab Joint(Ⅱ): Bearing Capacity Formula and Construction Details

Abstract: In this paper, the working characteristic of the core of discontinuous-tube-in-core concrete filled steel tubular column-slab joint under axial compression is analysed, the formula for the joint’s bearing capacity under axial compression adapting to engineering application is proposed, which is conservatively used to evaluate the result of the experiments.The construction details of the new-type joint are also discussed for reference in engineering practice.
