Various matrix inversing methods and their algorithm stability are analysed. It is found that the convergence of mathematic solution of selective harmonic elimination equation results from morbid-condition of the selective harmonic elimination matrix. The inversing method with Gauss-Jordan elementary transformation based on the compact memory is presented and calculation steps are described in detail. The results show that the algorithm has many meritssuch as little memory occupyinglittle calculation easy suited to parallel calculation and so on.Thereforeit is an effective method to get inverse matrix.

Reported here is a new sugar processing method (membrane process) providing an energy efficient and environmentally friendly process for the production of refined cane sugar. The UF (Ultra Filtration) membranes used in cane sugar process can remove color with minimal effect on environmental quality. The color removal ranges from48.7% for raw sugar to58.2% for affination syrup. The treatment of affination syrup using the membrane process removes impurities which affects the rate of crystallizationand improves the crystal growth rate by up to48.9%38.2% and37.0% respectively for the first hourthe second hour and the third hour. The subsequent increase in crystal growth rate will increase the plant capacityreduce sucrose lossand increase yield. The result shows the reduction in viscosity by17% due to the ultra filtration treatment.Application of the membrane process in raw sugar mills in conjunction with a sugar refinery can eliminate one or more of the various refining processessuch as affinationcarbonationphosphatationand/ or granular carbon/bone char/ion exchange for decolorization. In summarythe membrane process can produce high quality food grade sugar products meeting customers’needs with a considerable reduction of both capital and operating costs.

A Gauss curve is used to determine a fuzzy self-turning PD autopilot output parameters’field. Based on the corresponding PID controllertwo of the three parameters were fixedand then the other parameter was regulated. When a series of data was inputthe system output a curve stainsome of whose attributes were like gauss curve.Thereforethe Gauss curve was applied to determine both fields of P and D.Some simulation tests prove this method is effective.

The dimension criterion of state space is proposed from the first principles of chemical process.Independent component analysis is believed as a method which analysis process state space and gain state variables. Some factors for state space determination are also discussed. In a simulation casethe state space dimension and the state variables have been determined on the criterion. The multivariate statistics analysis consistent to the criterion determination;the state independent component direct-viewing and effectively describe the process system and independent component analysis is proved as an effective state space analysis method.

The ultrasonic extraction of soy protein from defatted soy flakes and the effects of ultrasonic treatment on the functionality of soy protein isolates (SPI) were studied. The results show that the ultrasonic treatment could obviously increase the extraction of protein from different denatured defatted soy flakes. The protein extraction of defatted soy flakes and white flakes with ultrasonic treatment at300● W and12●kHz for8●min were73.43% and90.28% respectivelybut only49.58% and66.54% with conventional stirring extraction at 45 ℃ for 1 h.SDS-PAGE and GPC analyses show that ultrasonic treatment mainly affects the 7S components of soy protein. The ultrasonic treatment can also improve the functionality of soy protein isolates (SPI) obviously. The emulsifying property of SPI increased while the viscosity decreased with ultrasonic treatment.

The application of pipe-truss string structure in Guangzhou international covention and exhibition center was introducedand the change of mechanical properties of cold or heat-bent steel pipes was studied.A series of experiments for bent steel pipes and their mechanical properties were conducted. Through the testing results of36sets of specimensa fitting formula was presentedby which was applied to investigate the vertical stiffness of this kind of structure. The calculated value of the suggested method is in agreement with the results of experimentswhich indicates the stiffness degradation of cold-bent steel pipes. As a resultthe overall stiffness of this kind of structure is also degraded.

Superabsorbent polymers(SAP) were prepared and used as a novel self-curing admixture in cement-based materials.SAP has good capability of absorbing and retaining water. It can restrain the desiccation in the early age of the cement hydrationand can offer sufficient moisture to keep the internal relative humidity in system in a rather long period of time.So the reaction of hydration is improved and the self-curing process thus realized. The effects of SAP on the fluiditysetting timestrength properties of cement-based materials and also on the hydration reaction by measuring the chemical bonding water amount were discussed. It is observed that the addition of SAP can improve both the hydration degree of cement paste and the mechanical properties of mortar. The bending strengths in particularare all improved by10%~20% in3 days7days and28days

The method of monitoring the strain of prestressed twist steel cables under construction by means of embedded optical fiber Bragg grating sensor (FBGS) was studiedand the influence of temperaturetransverse strain and other factors on the effectiveness of measurement results were analyzed. The mechanics behavior of the prestressed twist steel cables in the complicated constructing environment was probed. It shows that if the temperature changes greatlythe measurement results should be compensated. And applied the non-uniform transverse strainsFBGS does not meet the Bragg rules and further study should be made. The test results show that the FBGS has the advantages of easy embedmentstrong resistance to magnetism and absolute measurement of the straintherefore it is a good sensor for long monitoring of the structural health inside structures.

To investigate the biochemical characteristic differences of zona pellucida glycoproteins between oocytes and embryos are investigated through comparison betweenthe zona pellucida components of unfertilized oocytes and that of 2-cell embryos were analyzed by SDS-PAGEand the analysis of the differences of O-linked sugars chains between unfertilized oocytes and2-cell embryos zona pellucida was carried out by HPLC.The results show that the samples of unfertilized oocytes and2-cell embryos have similar SDS-PAGE profilesbut an additional band with the molecular mass between15000~30000was separated from the reduced sample of 2-cell embryos by SDS-PAGE.HPLC charts show that the sample of unfertilized oocytes had three O-linked monosaccharides with similar retained time values to those of 2-cell embryoswhile the O-linked oligosaccharides of the two samples were evidently different. It is concluded that the inactivation of sperm receptor of zona pellucida lies molecularly in the modification of its O-linked oligosaccharidesbut not in the change of O-linked monasaccharides.

To identify the3D structure and physical and chemical character of a single-chain Fv against HBsAg (HBscFv)methods of experimental biology and computational biology were applied.FirstAntheprota comprehensive software to analyze proteinwas used to predict the isoelectric point (pI) of HBscFv.Secondthe predicted result was confirmed by IEF.Thirdneural network systems (PHDsec) and SWISS-MODEL were applied to predict the secondary and tertiary structure of HBscFvrespectively. It was found that the theoretical pI of HBscFv is8.51and the experimental pI is from7.3to8.1. PHDsec indicated that HBscFv is a whole β-globin.The predicted tertiary structure displayed that the VH domain of HBscFv was made up of9β-sheets and VL domain of8β-sheets.Due to the specific characteristics of single-chain FvSWISS-MODEL software for homo-logy modeling of tertiary structure cannot predict the quaternary structure resulting from the interaction of VH and VL domains.

Titanium dioxide(TiO2) photocatalysts have been deposited on quartz sands by microwave radiation So-l Gel method. The influencing factors on sol quality including different heating-up method microwave power and microwave reaction temperature have been investigated. The particle size in the sol prepared by microwave radiation is smaller than the one by normal heating-up method. The appropriate microwave reaction conditions are the microwave power of 600W and90℃.Phenol is regarded as the photodegradation reactant and the photocatalysed performances of two photocatalysts prepared by two different methods have been investigated .The results indicate that the photocatalysed performance of TiO2 photocatalysts prepared by microwave radiation So-l Gel method is better than the one prepared by conventional So-l Gel method.
