Abstract: According to the current operation situation and managerial demand of the metropolis bridge in Guang-zhou‚first‚an overall train of thought for the study and development of the metropolis bridge management information system in Guangzhou is advanced‚based on Internet and GIS platform.Then a systematic demand analysis and the function design of every subsystem are recommended.And the main function module is introduced‚including setting-up of the bridge database‚the evaluation and the order of the technological state of the bridge‚bridge maintenance cost analysis‚and bridge security appraisal‚ bridge bearing capacity evaluation‚bridge state prediction‚bridge maintain decision‚etc.
