A novel de-spread re-spread smart antenna with equalizers is proposed.By using a reference signal equalizer and time domain equalizer the antenna array is mainly used to cancel the mult-i user interference while the time domain equalizer is mainly used to cancel the mult-i path interference. The expected user signal for training the antenna array and the equalizers is generated by re-spreading the demodulated expected user data.Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed smart antenna is better than that of the traditional de-spread re-spread smart antennas.

An integrated creative theory framework is proposed in this paperand then a replacement-based creative approach is introduced based on this theory. The approach employs a hyper-graph rewriting system to organize intrinsic information of the system and to model creativity process. It takes an existing system rather than external requirements as the starting pointand then an innovative structure involving a new system can be obtained by a sequence of formal operations on the initial hyper-graph structure of the system.

A simplefast and efficient still image compression algorithm based on the embedded zero-tree wavelet (EZW) algorithm is presented to meet the demands of high speed and great efficiency of network transmission. The improved fast algorithm has three distinguishing features: (1) Introducing the conceptions of significant subband and insignificant subbandwhich reduces the repetition scan times of coefficientand quickens the compression speed;(2) Using two thresholds in one coding scanand combining two iterations of the original EZW algorithm into onewhich not only reduces the time complexitybut also improves the compression rate and the power signa-l to-noise ratio;(3) Coding the lowest frequency subband separately from other high frequency subbands. The experimental result shows that the improved algorithm has higher compression rate and faster coding speed than Shapiro’s.

The design principles of indium tin oxide film(ITO) to prevent lectrostatic discharge for optical solar reflector(OSR) are studied. The theory analysis and experiment results show that two design principles are considered when ITO film is used to prevent lectrostatic discharge for OSR.One of them is that surface square resis-tance R□ of ITO film can’t be less than5kΩ·□-1otherwisethe sun spectrum absorptivity of OSR would increaseand surface square resistance R□ of5~106kΩ·□-1 and film thickness d of (150~200)×10-10 m are recommended. The another is that ITO film must be well groundedor else the surface charge and discharge phenomena of OSR would be much more serious.

The adsorption of Ni 2+ on the fibre containing amidoxime groups in different initial concentration Ni 2+ aqueous solution is studiedand it was found that the bonding between Ni 2+ and amidoxime groups was in accordance with the Freundlich isotherm. The reaction order was determined by infinitesimal calculusbased on the relationship between the adsorption time and the concentration of Ni 2+.To determine reaction rate constants( k)the adsorption of Ni 2+ of 0.033mol·L -1(initial concentration) on fibre containing amidoxime groups was also studied at different temperature.According to the correlation of k with the temperature and Arrhenius equationthe activation energy was obtained. The results indicate that the adsorption kinetics accorded with the character of the first order reaction: with the reaction rate equation being c=c0e -ktthe equation of reaction rate constant k=0.1716e -Ea/RTand the activation energy Ea=13.52kJ/mol.

The structure and performance of steam-cured fly-ash aerated concrete with light weight aggregate prepared by adding light weight aggregateair-entraining agent and gas-forming agentfinely ground aggregate were studied by SEM and other testing methods. The results show that the pore structure was improved. The aperture was less than0. 6mmand most of the pore size distributed in the range of0.2~0.5mm.When the densityvolume mixed ratio and strength of light weight aggregate and paste matched with each otherlight weight aggregate could disperse evenly in the sample and formed an intense boundary surface with the paste. As the volume fraction of light weight aggregate increased from 30% to 45%the dry shrinkage decreased significantlyand the coefficient of carbonization lowed down.Performance such as compressive strengthdry-shrin-kage and carbonization-resistance of the sample cured at 95℃ for one day could meet the requirements of standard GB/T11968—1997which is the standard of autoclaved aerated concrete.

Time history response analysis finite element method and modal analysis finite element method are used to analyze large U-shaped beam aqueducts with different lengths in this paper. The earthquake responses of middle long shells and long shells with earthquake waves from transverse direction and vertical direction are studied and the regulations of the additive dynamic internal force were found. In the static analysisthe internal force result by finite element method is just one third of the result by the tratitional method. In the dynamic analysisthe transverse additional dynamic bending moment generated by the transverse earthquake is more than50% of the static result by finite element method. That means when the dynamic loads are consideredthe internal force result by the traditional method is safe and the safety factor is at least two.
