    Normal and high-amylose ( Hylon V and Hylon VII) corn starches before and after heat-moisture treatment were investigated in terms of resistant starch ( RS) content,amylose content,thermal properties,swelling power and digestibility. The results show that the RS and amylose contents of the three kinds of starches all increase after the heat-moisture treatment,and that,the heat-moisture treatment improves the gelatinization temperatures
    and gelatinization enthalpies of the starches,which make it difficult for the starches to gelatinize. Moreover,it is found that,after the heat-moisture treatment,both the polarization cross remains with some pits on the surfaces of some starch granules,and the intensity of polarized light in the center of the polarization cross weakens,which becomes more obvious with the increase of the amylose content. It is also found that the heat-moisture treatment results in the decreases of the swelling powers and digestibility of all the three kinds of starches.

    Four kinds of corn starches with different amylose /amylopectin contents,namely,waxy corn starch,normal corn starch,Hylon Vand Hylon VII,were investigated in the aspects of thermodynamic property and in vitro digestibility,and the relationship between the two properties was further analyzed. It is found that the thermodynamic property difference between the native high-amylopectin ( waxy and normal) corn starches and the high-amylose
    ( Hylon Vand Hylon VII) ones is great,that the pasting temperatures of the high-amylopectin corn starches are about 70℃,while the high-amylose corn starch ( Hylon VII) is resistant to gelatinization even in the boiling water,that the peak viscosities of four kinds of corn starches varieties significantly decrease with the increase of amylose content,that the normal corn starch with proper amylose content is of high swelling power,and that the swelling powers of normal corn starch,Hylon V and Hylon VII at 90℃ are respectively 13. 07,5. 63 and 4. 54 g /g. DSC analysis reveals that the waxy corn starch is of one single endothermic peak,while both the normal corn starch and the high amylose starch are not only of an additional endothermic peak of amylose-lipid complex but also of a lower total enthalpy change,and that,after the treatment with the boiling water,the normal corn starch with lower pasting temperature and higher swelling power is of higher slowly-digestible starch content,while the high-amylose corn starches with higher pasting temperature and lower swelling power are of higher resistant starch content.

    This paper deals with the effects of lysine( Lys) on the viscosity,swelling power and rheological properties of tapioca starch ( TS) by using a Brabender viscometer and a Haake rheometer. The results indicate that,after the addition of Lys,the swelling power and the peak viscosity decrease,the gelatinization temperature increases,the retrogradation weakens,and the thermal stability improves,that these changes become more substantial with the increase of Lys content,and that the TS pastes with different Lys contents are all pseudoplastic,and the apparent viscosity of the paste decreases with the increase in shear rate. Moreover,it is found that the addition of Lys reduces the storage modulus( G') and the loss modulus ( G″) and raises the loss tangent,which makes the starch-Lys paste display more liquid-like characteristics than the native starch paste.

    Sago starch-water suspensions ( 8.0%) were subjected to pulsed electric fields ( PEF) at 30,40 and 50 kV/cm,respectively,and the physicochemical properties of the treated starch were investigated by means of the scanning electron microscopy,the laser scattering,the X-ray diffraction,the differential scanning calorimetry and the Brabender viscosity test. The results show that,after PEF treatment,the granule morphology and crystalline structure of the starch are both damaged,that the damage becomes more significant with the increase of the electric field strength,that,after the PEF treatment at 50 kV/cm,the relative crystallinity remarkably decreases,that the PEF treatment results in an obvious decrease of granule size,and that gelatinization temperature,the peak temperature,the gelatinization enthalpy and the hot paste stability all decreased,while the gelling and the retrogradation both improved.

    This paper deals with the effect of the pH value on the Zeta potentials,ultracentrifugation combined with electrophoresis,solubilities,fluorescence spectra and secondary structures of soybean protein isolates,with the mechanism of the subunit dissociation of the soybean protein isolates in acid conditions being also analyzed. The results show that the subunit dissociation is mainly due to the intermolecular electrostatic repulsion,and the extent of the dissociation of glycinin is much greater than that of β-conglycinin,that the Zeta potential reaches the maximum at a pH value between 2. 0 and 3. 0,and that the subunits dissociate when the pH value is 2. 0 and 3. 0. Moreover,it is found that,at pH 3. 0,the extent of the dissociation reaches the maximum,the average diameter of the soybean protein isolates is 2. 1 times that at pH 7. 0,the random coil content of the secondary structure increases by 15. 7%,and the maximum absorption wavelength in the fluorescence spectra increases by 4. 3 nm,and that,the extent of the dissociation decreases when the pH value is lower than 3. 0,the subunits do not dissociate when the pH value is 1. 0 and 7. 0,and the solubility of the undissociated protein decreases dramatically with the increase of the rotating speed of the ultracentrifugation.

    The homogenate extraction of limonin respectively by means of the orthogonal design,the uniform design and the response surface methodology ( RSM) ,with the limonin yield,as the evaluation index. Then,by combining the optimal process with the method of crystallization,limonin was extracted from the seeds of oranges ( Citrus reticulata Blanco) in Guangzhou. Moreover,its purity was analyzed through the high-performance liquid chromatography. The results show that the purity of the sample reaches 95%,that the effects of the three statistical methods on the yield are close to each other,and that,by means of RSM,the maximum limonin yield in up to( 6. 65 ± 0. 01) mg /g in the optimal conditions,namely,an ethanol concentration of 71. 7% ( volume fraction) ,a solvent-solid ratio of 28. 8mL /g and a rotating speed of 3953 r /min.

    Proposed in this paper is a combined plate-beam element method to calculate the local vibration of the orthotropic steel bridge deck with trapezoid stiffened ribs,which is used in the long-span steel bridge. In this method,the top plate and the trapezoid stiffened rib are respectively taken as the flat shell element and the plate-beam element,and the corresponding displacement model is established according to the deformation coordination relationship between the plate and the rib. Moreover,the stiffness matrix of the combined plate-beam element is obtained based on the energy-variation principle,and the consistent mass matrix and the consistent load matrix are obtained based on the shape function of each sub-element. Then,the finite dynamic equilibrium equations are obtained. Finally,a calculation program of dynamic finite element is presented for the combined plate-beam element,and the first 10 consequent natural frequencies are compared with those of the shell finite element,finding that the latters accord well with the formers. Thus,the proposed method proves to be feasible and efficient.

    As it is easy for the operational modal analysis with unkown excitation to miss true modes and produce spurious modes,an improved multiple reference degrees of freedom( DOFs) stabilization diagram algorithm is proposed based on eigensystem realization algorithm. In this algorithm,by setting different reference DOFs in each group of data,the modal parameters are identified by means of the natural excitation technique in junction with the eigensystem realization algorithm. Then,the most accurate modal parameters are determined with damping ratio,observability matrix-based consistent mode indicator and modal amplitude coherence as the identification indexes. Finally,the proposed algorithm and the enhanced frequency domain decomposition method are both evaluated by means of the modal identification of the measured data of a long-span cable-stayed bridge,the Yamen Bridge. The results show that the proposed algorithm is capable of accurately identifying the low modes,thus providing a good basis for finite element model updating.

    In order to reveal the influence of dynamicand P -Δ and P -δ effects on the single-degree-of-freedom system ( SDOFS) ,the theoretical simulation and the numerical calculation are both conducted from the viewpoint of "stiffness reduction”. First,the formulae of the coefficient of the lateral stiffness reduction precisely considering second-order effects are deduced,which regard the influence of the second-order effects on the structural dynamic
    response as the lateral stiffness reduction. Next,the theoretical formula of the response spectrum method precisely considering the second-order effects of SDOFS is proposed and is simplified based on the standard response spectrum of the seismic design code. Then,the differences between the P -Δ and P -δ effects and the P -Δ effect are examined under the static and the dynamic conditions. Finally,the proposed method is verified by the results of the finite element numerical calculation,finding that the results of the proposed method accord well with the numerical ones.

    In order to reveal the dynamic characteristics of the uniaxial-eccentricity base-isolated structure and establish corresponding simplified method of theoretical analysis,a 3-story 2-span base-isolated steel frame model is investigated by means of the shaking-table tests under different eccentric conditions. Then,the relationship between the torsional effect of the structure and the eccentric condition is discussed. Meanwhile,at different eccentricities,not only the change laws of the shear force,torque and rotation angle between the structure floors before and after the isolation but also the change laws of the acceleration and displacement of the torsion angle of the isolated layer are analyzed. Moreover,based on the layer element model,the simplified dynamic equation of the eccentric isolated structure is established,and the test model is theoretically analyzed. The experimental and analytical results show that the torsional response of the structure can be significantly reduced by the adjustment of the centre of the stiffness of the isolated layer to the mass centre of the superstructure,and that the proposed simplified dynamic equation is capable of effectively stimulating the lateral-torsional coupling response.

    In order to investigate the compression behavior of the cold-formed thin-walled steel columns with lipped channel,intermediate stiffener and openings in the web,16 axial compressive members,including the short and the medium-length columns in two section forms,were experimentally analyzed in the aspects of bearing capacity and buckling mode. The results show that all of the specimens fail due to the distortional buckling and the mediumlength columns have additional overall bending around the weak axis,that the openings in the web result in the changes of buckling modes of the members and the local bucklings of the plates occur around the openings,and that,due to the effects of the openings,the bearing capacities of the specimens decrease and the decrement of the bearing capacity of the short column is greater than that of the medium-length one. Moreover,it is found that,for the specimens in the same test group,the columns with larger initial distortional imperfections are of lower bearing capacities and greater deformations induced by the distortional bucklings,and that the openings generally enhance the deformations corresponding to the ultimate bearing capacity. In addition,all of the tested specimens are simulated by means of the finite element method,finding that the simulated results accord well with the experimental ones.

    In order to investigate the performance of the reinforced widening embankment with geogrid under the differential settlement between the new widening subgrade and the old one,some indoor model tests were repectively designed and conducted under six conditions,including the no-geogrid and 2-layer geogrid reinforced widening embankments as well as the differential settlements of 0,20,30 and 50mm. For each condition,both the differential settlement distribution of the embankments and the strain performance of geogrid were tested and analyzed under load. The results show that placing the geogrid on the top and bottom layers of the reinforced widening embankment can effectively reduce the settlement deformation of the embankment caused by the load at the top of the embankment,that,as compared with the no-geogrid reinforced embankment,the settlement of the 2-layer one can reduce by at most 48% near the place under load at the same amount of the subgrade differential settlement,that the geogrid at the junction of the old embankment and the new widening one receives the biggest tension stress under the subgrade differential settlement,and that the geogrid can significantly homogenize the settlement distribution on the embankment surface and adjust the differential settlement of the junction in the cross-section direction of the embankment.

    In order to reveal the mechanical behavior of the fiber-reinforced polymer( FRP) at elevated temperatures,8-mm glass fiber rein-forced polymer ( GFRP) rebars are investigated by the tensile tests at a range of temperatures from 10℃ to 500℃. Thus,the corresponding deterioration tendencies of the ultimate strength and the elastic modulus with the increasing temperature are obtained. Then,based on the results of both the tension tests and the TG/DSC analyses,a tensile constitutive model of three controlled parameters is proposed to describe the GFRP rebars at elevated temperatures. This model considers the material thermal properties of both the resin and the fibers and can be simplified to be a model of two controlled parameters,namely,the glass transition temperature of the resin and the soften /oxidation temperature of the fibers. After the verification,it is found that the model of two controlled parameters is in full agreement with not only the results of the elevated-temperature tensile tests from this paper but also those of FRP rebars from relative papers,and can be generally applied to the FRP rebars with different fiber types and resin mate-rials.

    In this paper,the general situation of China National Pavilion at the Expo 2010 Shanghai China is introduced,the four tubes rising from the Regional Pavilion and connecting in the air being the exhibition hall with spreading layer upon layer,just like an inverse quadrangular frustum pyramid crown. Moreover,some characteristics of the structure design of the National Pavilion are expounded,which includes that so as to columns set based on the shape of the building vertically support the girders of floor inclined satisfy the demand of the big space service function without column within the exhibition hall,and by strengthening the stiffnesses of the coupling beam and the floor at 33. 3m elevation,the press of the floor is used to resist more horizontal component force from the inclined columns by means of self equilibrium rather than the shear of shear wall. Besides,the authors also introduce the structure layout at the elevations of 41. 4,49. 5,60. 3 and 69. 9 m,the joint configuration of connecting three inclined columns,the camber principle of composite beam,the measures in dealing with the girder with large internal force,seismic design,etc.

    A novel fiber concrete,namely,steel fiber-polymer reinforced high-strength concrete ( SPHC) ,is used in long-span bridge structures. In order to reveal its thermal fatigue performance and durability,the corresponding experiments and theoretical analyses of the real bridge were conducted based on the climatic conditions in Guangdong province,China. Then,at the room temperature,the thermal fatigue performance of SPHC was compared with that of C60 concrete which has static mechanical properties similar to SPHC. The results show that the proposed calculation formula can effectively describe the fatigue life and fatigue limit of SPHC considering service environment,and that,as compared with C60 concrete,the fatigue resistance of SPHC greatly improves.

    Aiming at the phase difference extraction in speckle pattern interferometry,a novel method is proposed based on the four-step phase shifting. In this method,by collecting the four interferometric patterns respectively before and after the object deforming,a novel mathematical expression of the phase difference is theoretically derived,which avoids the high-frequency noise and the false wrapped phase difference of the general four-step phase-shifting method. The proposed method is then tested by using a circumferentially-fixed disk model with a point loading at the centre and is compared with the general four-step phase-shifting method. The results show that the proposed method is significantly superior to the general one in terms of high-frequency noise elimination and image quality improvement,and that it can not only suppress the noise but also maintain the stripe features.

    In this paper,a finite element model is established to describe the intense laser-irradiated sandwich structure with aluminum honeycomb cores,and its temperature field and mechanical properties are analyzed by means of the sequential thermal-mechanical coupling. Moreover,the influence of the thickness,thermal conductivity and specific heat capacity of the heat shield on the temperature rise of the sandwich structure is investigated under
    the condition of a certain laser power. The thermal deformation of the sandwich structure with heat shield and the equivalent stresses of the top face sheet and the honeycomb core are also discussed. The results indicate that the thermal conductivity of the heat shield has the greatest effect on the temperature field of the sandwich structure,while the specific heat capacity of heat shield within a certain range has a less effect,that,after the irradiation,the equivalent stresses of the top face sheet and the honeycomb core in the center of laser spot slightly exceed the corresponding yield strength and then slowly decrease,and that the thermal deformation of the sandwich structure mainly occurs in the center of the laser spot. Finally,the temperature rises as well as the thermal deformations of the sandwich structure with and without heat shield are compared,thus finding that the heat shield relieves and inhibits the temperature rise and the deformation.

    Aiming at the low mobilities of the thin film transistors respectively based on amorphous silicon and organic semiconductor,ZnO thin-film transistors ( ZnO-TFTs) were successfully prepared by means of the reactive magnetron sputtering from a high-purity Zn metal target,with the ZnO thin-films annealed at different temperatures as the active layer. The effects of the annealing temperature on the electrical properties of the ZnO-TFTs were investigated. The results show that the carrier mobility of the ZnO-TFTs obviously increases with the annealing temperature,which is up to 8. 00 cm2 /( V·s) at 700℃,while the threshold voltage obviously decreases with the increase of the annealing temperature,and that ZnO-TFTs with the annealing treatment at a higher temperature is of lower OFF-state current. Moreover,according to the microstructure and compositions of the ZnO thin-films characterized by means of XRD,AFM and XPS,it is concluded that the performance improvement of the ZnO-TFTs with the increase of the annealing temperature is attributed to the facts that the increase of the temperature results in larger and more uniform grain size,lower surface roughness and lower oxygen content.

    In order to improve the reliability and efficiency of the full diversity cooperation ( FDC) transmission system,two cooperation-hybrid automatic repeat request ( C-HARQ) schemes are proposed,one is FFC-HARQ ( Fixed-Length Frame Cooperation-Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request) scheme that adopts the strategy of error detection and retransmission to increase the throughput based on the native frame structure of the FDC transmission
    system,and the other is VFC-HARQ ( Variable-Length Frame Cooperation-Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request) scheme that changes the frame structure to further improve the throughput. Then,the outage probabilities and throughput performances of the systems respectively adopting VFC-HARQ and FFC-HARQ schemes are investigated based on the state transition model of Markov chain. Simulation results show that,for the FDC transmission system,the adoption of the proposed schemes can not only reduce the outage probability but also improve the throughput,that VFC-HARQ scheme outperforms FFC-HARQ by a throughput gain of 50% at the SNR greater than 20 dB,and that,as compared with the 4-slot program,VFC-HARQ scheme obtains a throughput gain greater 10% at the SNR of 10 dB.

    This paper deals with the previously-proposed ultra-wideband ( UWB) communication system based on the parallel combinatory spread spectrum,and employs a time-hopping method to investigate the multiple access performance of the proposed system by analyzing the BER performance and the number of multi-user access. Simulated results show that the employment of the time-hopping method improves the multiple access performance and greatly increases the system capacity,and that the proposed system with time-hopping multiple access in the existence
    of 5 interference users is still superior to the conventional single-user UWB communication system in terms of BER performance. Moreover,the authors further analyze the system capacity and suggest that,when there are more interference users,it should be considerable to adopt a new time-hopping code to reduce the probability of pulse collision,so as to decrease the multi-user interference.

    In order to overcome the congestion in wireless Ad hoc networks,a novel congestion control algorithm,namely,medium contention-based fair congestion control ( MCFCC) algorithm,is proposed and compared with the typical algorithm LRED. In the MCFCC algorithm,the backoff ratio of the node is calculated according to the backoff times in competing for shared channels,and the corresponding packet dropping probability is further obtained. Thus,the packet transmission rate of the source nodes can be reasonably controlled,and both the collision of shared media and the throughput degradation caused by the congestion can be solved with the help of the fast and accurate judgements on the congestion statuses of nodes and networks. Moreover,the congestion information are sent to the neighbor nodes by means of request to send or clear to send frame,so that each node can know the congestion information about its neighbors and then adjust its congestion information and packet dropping probability,thus improving the fairness among traffic flows. Simulation results show that the MCFCC algorithm can significantly improve the performance of IEEE 802.11 DCF,greatly increase the network throughput,ameliorate the fairness among nodes and effectively avoid the network congestion at the medium access control layer.

    In order to avoid the gross registration error and the singular point in the current registration method of the navigation of stereotactic brain surgery,a novel registration method with electromagnetic positioning is proposed based on unit-quaternion. In this method,by using the characteristics of fast iteration and nonsingular solution of unit-quaternion,three space mappings are realized during the registration. Moreover,the optimal transformation
    matrix from the surgery space to the computer space is solved according to the description of the rigid body posture transform in unit-quaternion and to the theory of odd coordinates. Experimental results show that the registration errors of the proposed algorithm are all less than 2mm,and the registration accuracy of the system is higher when 7 ~12 registration points lie symmetrically and surround the lesion uniformly and compactly.

    In the process of ethanol fermentation,Saccharomyces cerevisiae usually encounters various stress conditions,such as high temperature,high osmotic pressure and high-concentration ethanol. Aiming at these problems,the relationship between the fermentation behavior and the stress tolerance is investigated. In the investigation,the fermentation behaviors of thirteen industrial and one laboratory trial yeast strains,including the growth rate,the substrate consumption rate and the ethanol yield,are analyzed. It is found that these strains can be classified into three groups based on their fermentation behaviors. Moreover,a correlation between the fermentation behavior and the tolerance to various stresses is set up by means of the linear discriminant analysis ( LDA) ,and a growth inhibitor ( Gi) is used as a quantitative parameter to evaluate the stress tolerance of different strains. Finally,based on the tolerance and the LDA method,a statistical model is established to predict the fermentation behaviors of the strains,which lays down a novel evaluation method for the breeding and selection of S. cerevisiae.

    In order to investigate the function of linoleic acid isomerase( LAI) and construct the recombinant yeast strains,first,the lai gene was cloned from Lactobacillus plantarum lp15-2-1,with its coding sequence being also analyzed. Then,lai was fused to the sequences of both the signal peptide of yeast and the anchor region of α-agglutinin,thus constructing the yeast cell-surface display vector. Finally,the vector was transformed into Saccharomyces cerevisiae K601 by means of the electroporation,and the transformants were screened by using the synthetic dropout medium without uracil. Amino acid sequence analysis shows that LAI is of a high homology to the myosin-cross-reactive antigen proteins as well as of a semi-conserved flavin adenine dinucleotide binding motif near the N-terminus. The activity results of the recombinant yeast strains demonstrate that LAI from Lactobacillus plantarum is successfully displayed on the cell-surface of yeast K601,and that the activity of LAI reaches the maximum 40.5U/mL in 48 h. Moreover,GC results indicate that the recombinant yeast strains are capable of producing a single c9,t11- CLA isomer.

    In order to explore the synergy and attenuation effects of dihydromyricetin ( DMY) on the tumor-bearing mice affected by breast cancer treated with adriamycin ( ADM),a model of transplanted 4T1 was established in the female Balb /C mice. Then,the effects of DMY alone,ADM alone and ADM combined with DMY on the mass of the transplanted tumor,the lung metastatic loci,the cardiotoxicity and the hepatotoxicity were studied. The results
    show that,as compared with the control group ( physiological saline) ,100 mg /( kg·d) DMY has no significant effect on the tumor mass as well as the creatine kinase,the alanine transaminase and the aspartate aminotransferase ( AST) activities,but significantly reduces the serum lactate dehydrogenase ( LDH) activity ( P < 0. 05) and the lung metastatic loci ( P < 0. 01) ,that 2 mg /( kg·d) ADM significantly decreases the tumor mass ( P < 0. 05) and the lung metastatic loci ( P < 0. 01) but significantly increases the LDH and AST activities ( P<0. 05) ,and that 2mg /( kg·d) ADM combined with 100mg /( kg·d) DMY brings about better antitumor effect,that is,not only the tumor mass and the lung metastatic loci but also the increments of the LDH and AST activities induced by ADMalone decrease,with a significance level of P < 0. 01 for the former. The above-mentioned details indicate that ADM can significantly inhibit the growth and lung metastasis of transplanted 4T1 in tumor-bearing mice,although it may result in cardiotoxicity and hepatotoxicity to a certain degree,and that DMY can enhance the antitumor effects of ADM and attenuate adriamycin-induced cardiotoxicity and hepatotoxicity.

    Laccase from a newly isolated wood-rot fungus Psathyrella Candolleana,was produced via the submerged fermentation,and high-purity laccase was obtained by means of the ammonium sulfate precipitation and the ion-exchange chromatography. Then,the enzymatic properties of the laccase were also analyzed. The results indicate that the maximal activity of the laccase from P. candolleana in the fermentor reaches 9100U/L,that the active
    component of the laccase achieved after 13. 2-fold purification is of a specific activity of 438. 0U/mg with a yield of 50. 1%,that the molecular mass and Michaelis constant of the laccase are respectively about 61. 2ku and 16μmol /L,and that the optimal pH value and temperature for the laccase activity are 5. 0 and 45℃,respectively. Moreover,it is also found that the laccase activity is stable under 4 ~10℃ at pH 9. 0 and is not sensitive to Mg2 + ,Mn2 + and Zn2 + .

    Laccase was immobilized through the electrostatic layer-by-layer self-assembly,and cationic polyacrylamide ( CPAM) /laccase self-assembled films were prepared on solid substrate ( mica) . Then,the activities and morphologies of the films were characterized by means of the UV-Vis spectroscopy and the atomic force microscopy,and the enzymatic properties of the immobilized laccase were also analyzed. The results show that the activity of the
    CPAM /laccase self-assembled film linearly increases with the number of layers,and the enzyme loading can be effectively controlled by changing the adsorption cycles,and that the laccase molecules are arranged orderly in the films,and the average height and RMS roughness of the self-assembled film increase with the number of layers.Moreover,it is found that the optimal pH value and temperature of the immobilized laccase are respectively 5. 0 and 50℃,which is 5 ℃ higher than that of free laccase,and the corresponding Michaelis constant for ABTS is 0. 042mmol /L,that the thermal stabilities of the immobilized laccase is significantly higher than those of free laccase,and that the immobilized laccase is of excellent reusability and high storage stability.
