Abstract:

In this paper,a new image watermarking algorithm is introduced, which is designed to be robust against print and scan (i.e.slight geometrical distortions and noise). The digital watermark is a square noise-like pattern that is embedded in the Fourier domain and is modulated at a high carrier frequency. Then, several embedding methods are evaluated with respect to their robustness against various distortions. The detection is blind; normalized 2D correlation between the watermark and the Fourier coefficients at the carrier frequency is performed.
