Abstract:

By using the interpolated ultrasonically-enhanced supercritical fluid extraction(USFE)device designed by the researchers.the mathematical model and mechanism of USFE were investigated. The experimental results indicate that the proposed model not only proves the enhancement of supercritical fluid extraction by ultrasonic, but also predicts well the USFE process and the supercritical fluid extraction(SFE)process.Meanwhile,it can reflect the actual extraction process. It iS also indicated that the low-frequency ultrasonic has a greater effect on USFE than the high-frequency ultrasonic and that the mechanism of USFE lies in the mechanical fluctuant effect and the ther-real effect caused by ultrasonic in microenvironment.
