Abstract: An optimization algorithm for hybrid meshes of curved surface was proposed based on Laplacian function.In this algorithmthe surface boundary was pre-treated firstthen the cell meshes based on interior nodes were re-posited.According to the required size and precision of meshesthe optimization of meshes was carried out by using Laplacian equation and optimization-based smoothing algorithm. Research results show thatby using the algorithmreasonable hybrid meshes of curved surface and per- fect optimization result can be obtained with desirable precision.
