Abstract: In order to enlarge the channel capacity and improve quality of wireless communication systems, a multiple input multiple output ultra-wideband (MIMO UWB) antenna with high isolation was designed by jointly optimizing S11 and S12 with differential evolution algorithm (DEA) and method of moments (MOM). Compared with the simulation software method, this method can greatly reduce the amount of work and improve efficiency. According to the comparison of the measured results and the simulated results, the proposed compact antenna can be widely applied in short distance wireless communication systems with good performance, and it can effectively improve the the channel capacity. Additionally, the measured results are consistent with the simulated results, demonstrating correctness and effectiveness of the method.
