Mechanical Characteristic Analysis of Tapered Roller of a New- Type Mechanical Vibration Table

Abstract:

This paper puts forwards the basic structure and working principle of a new- type mechanical vibrationtable.It mainly investigates the mechanical characteristics of the vibration component—tapered roller.In the inves-tigation,the quasi- static method is used to analyze the force situation of the tapered roller,and the hydrodynamicmodel as well as the friction force model of the tapered roller is established.Then,the force and moment balanceequations of the tapered roller are derived,from which it is found that the up- and- down vibration of the mechanicalvibration table can be realized in an equilibrium condition.Finally,a transient dynamic analysis of the tapered rolleris carried out with ANSYS and the stress distribution response of the tapered roller in one movement cycle is simula-ted.The stress deformation curve obtained by simulation shows that the mechanical vibration table meets the designrequirements well,with only a slight stress change occurring during the movement of the tapered roller.
