Design and Processing of Spherical Inflatable Antenna

Abstract:

The analysis,design and manufacture of spherical inflatable antenna have become hot research issuesboth at home and abroad,and the demands on mass production and processing research are urgent.From the per-spective of design and process,this paper proposes an analytical method for the initial profile design of inflatableantenna reflector and the design of membrane pieces,and presents design methods for the pasting molds of reflectorand sphere as well as for the cutting line and mold.Moreover,the processes and procedures of spherical inflatableantenna are illustrated.Performance test results show that the proposed process and procedure is feasible,efficientand reliable.
