Theoretical Analysis and Experimental Investigation of Heat Transfer in Spraying Plate- type Evaporative Condenser

Abstract:

Based on the theoretical analysis and experimental investigation of spraying plate- type evaporative con-densers,a performance test system as well as a corresponding model of the condenser was constructed,and the wa-ter- side and the air- side heat transfer performances of the condenser were discussed in detail.Moreover,some cal-culation correlations of the condenser were derived to guide the design and analysis of thermal resistance.It is foundthat wet- bulb temperature,plate spacing,water quantity and wind volume are the main factors that affect the heattransfer performances of spraying- plate evaporative condensers.
