Test Method for 3-Axis Rotational Inertia of Bogie

Abstract:

This paper deals with the 3-axis rotational inertia of bogie,an important parameter evaluating the running performance of vehicles. In the investigation,first,according to the structure characteristics of the test bench of bogie parameters,a vibration theory-based method to test the 3-axis rotational inertia is put forward,and the corresponding test models are constructed. Next,in order to well control the actuators during the test of rotational inertia,an inverse displacement analysis model of the simulation platform is established based on the Euler angle and the vector norm. Then,in the Simulink environment,the inverse displacement of the platform during the test of rotational inertia around the X axis is resolved in real time. Finally,the relation curve of actuator’expansion amount versus time is obtained. Simulation results indicate that the proposed computing model of inverse displacement is correct.
