Abstract:

In order to improve the accuracy of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of power quality and to contact and quantify each grades of the power quality index, the membership function employed in the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is analyzed, and an improved membership function is proposed to quantify the fuzzy characteristics that reflect the grades of the power quality index. In the investigation, first, the weight of the power quality index, the index limit for determining the parameters of the membership function and the division of quality grades are all analyzed. Then, the traditional ridge-shaped function is improved to construct an improved membership function based on the quality grades, and the fuzzy models of power quality indexes are established. The proposed method is finally applied to the evaluation of power quality of a regional power grid, with its practicability and effectiveness being verified by the results.
