Abstract:

The adsorption capacity of molecular sieves is related to many factors.Th is paper experimentally investi-gates the influences of superficial velocity, the thermal boundary conditions and the vacuum desorption time on the adsorption capacity. The results show that:(1)the superficial velocity basically does not affect the total adsorption capacity in the range of the experiment but somewhat greatly afects the adsorption capacity in a unit of time, (2)
compared with that in natural convection condition.the adsorption capacity would increase by 95% with the heat-insulating measures outside the adsorbent bed,and(3)the adsorption capacity is somewhat greatly affected by the vacuum desorption time, with a desirable time period of 5 h.
