Heating Design and Thermal Field Analysis by M eans of FEM for Mold in Powder Warm -Compacted Equipment

Abstract:

In order to solve the heating method of the powder warm compact,this paper presents a heating mode with an electrical heater element by theoretical analysis and calculation
,and designs a mold heating equipment.Fi-nite element method preprocess/postprocess software MSC.Patran and FEM analysis software MSC.Marc.ar e used to analyze the thermal field and simulate the temperature field of the mold.The experimental resuhs meet t0 the fi-nite element,the results show that the electrical heating system is fitted to powder press and finite element methodcan be used to simulate the temperature field.
