Abstract:

This paper discusses the eigenvalue problem for the p-Laplacian equation With critical exponent. By using the concentration compactness principle and the mountain pass theorem without the(PS)condition,the cha.racteristics of the eigenfunc.tion for the p-Laplacian equation aye investigated,thus obtaining the existence of a spe-cial engenfunction.
