Abstract:

Granitite distributes widely in Guangdong. The surface of the cutting slope composed by the granitite weathering remaining soil is scoured seriously. In this paper, the main factors influencing the scouring stability of the cutting slope were analyzed, according to which the evaluation indexes and corresponding membership functions of the fuzzy evaluation for the scouring stability were determined, and a reasonable evaluation model was set up.The proposed method was then used to evaluate the scouring stability of a typical cutting slope example in Yingde area of Guangdong, thus verifying the effectiveness of the fuzzy evaluation. The results indicate that the scouring stability of the cutting slope is poor without reinforcement and protection, and obviously becomes better by stabili· zing the surface soil and planting vegetables between concrete grids on the slope. It is also shown that the fuzzy method to evaluate the scouring stability is of great applicability.
