Thermodynamic Properties of P2O5-SiO2-Na2O-Al2O3 Glass System

Abstract: The thermodynamic properties of P 2 O 5 -SiO 2 -Na 2 O-Al 2 O 3 glass system were investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry and thermo-mechanical analysis.The characteristic tempera-ture and the thermal expansion coefficient of the system with different SiO 2 contents were then dis-cussed.The results indicate that‚with the increase in SiO 2 content‚the transition temperature (T g ) and soft temperature (T f ) of the glass increase accordingly‚while the thermal expansion coefficient decreases.
