Shrinkage Compensation in Cutting of Tensioned
Membrane Structure

Abstract

Abstract: Cutting is an important step in the analysis of tensioned membrane structure and shrinkage compensation constitutes a very important parameter in cutting analysiswhich affects the safety and economy of a project．In this paper the effects of loadprestress and creep on the shrinkage compensation are studied．Some suggestions are given for the determination of shrinkage compensation in engineering practice．Its effect on the interior force of the structure is also discussed．
