Effect of Zn Doping on the Photocatalytic Activity of Nano-sized TiO2

摘要: 采用溶胶 凝胶法制备纳米二氧化钛和锌掺杂二氧化钛光催化剂.傅立叶变换红外光谱表征结果显示‚随着焙烧温度升高‚红外吸收峰进一步分裂;热重分析结果表明‚掺锌后粒子表面对水的吸附能力增强;X 射线衍射分析和 Scherrer 公式计算结果表明‚随着温度的升高 TiO 2 粒子半径增长加速‚其结果与电子扫描显微镜和 BET 比表面积表征结果一致;光催化降解亚甲基蓝实验结果表明‚掺锌2%(质量分数)的二氧化钛催化剂在530℃焙烧后催化活性最高.

Abstract: Nano-sized photocatalyst particles of TiO 2 and Zn-doped TiO 2 were prepared by the so- l gel method.The FTIR results of the particles show that the infrared absorption peaks split further with the increase of calcination temperature.TGA results reveal that the surface hydrophilicity of the sample in-creases with Zn doping.XRD results and the calculation results by Scherrer equation indicate that the particle size of TiO 2 increases sharply with calcination temperature.These results are similar to those ob-ained by SEM and BET.Experimental results of the photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue show that the photocatalytic activity of Zn-doped TiO 2 calcined at530℃ is highest with the Zn doping content of2%(mass fraction).
