    As VANET ( Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network) is of high-speed moving nodes, dynamic topology and unstable links, the direct application of MANET (Mobile Ad Hoe Networks) routing protocols to VANET may cause many problems such as long data transmission delay and high packet loss ratio. In order to solve these problems, a position-based stable clustering routing protocol is proposed, which classifies the network into several clusters according to the moving characteristics of the nodes and makes the path decision based on the position and electronic map of the nodes. Simulated results show that the proposed protocol effectively improves the stability of clusters and significantly reduces the data transmission delay as well as the packet loss ratio.

    Proposed in this paper is a compact dual-band filter based on the combined resonators,in which the two central passband frequencies and bandwidths are all tunable.The filter is composed of two sets of l/4 microstrip resonators that produce two different passbands.By adjusting the coupled spacing between the adjacent resonators in each set,the bandwidth for either the lower or the upper passband can be independently adjusted.Moreover,a dual-band filter operating at 2.4 and 5.2GHz is designed and manufactured.The measurement results basically accord with the simulation ones,which validates the effectiveness of the proposed design.

    In order to realize the automatic selection of effective singular values,the method of curvature spectrum of singular values is proposed.The characteristic of the singular values of both ideal signals and noise signals is studied.It is discovered that there is a big turning point in the singular value curve of ideal signals,but not in the one of noise signals.Then the concept of curvature spectrum of singular value is put forward to describe the turning point of singular values of noisy signals,and some problems relating to the computation of curvature spectrum are analyzed.The results show that the number of effective singular values can be determined according to the position of the maximum peak of curvature spectrum.Specifically,this number is k if the singular value curve is convex in the coordinates k of the maximum peak,and is k-1 if the curve is concave.The effective singular values of a bearing vibration signal are well determined by the proposed method,and a modulation phenomenon caused by the small pits in the rolling track is extracted,according to which the number of the small pits is reliably diagnosed.

    As the existing algorithms of blind source separation(BSS) are suitable only for sparse sources but not for incompletely-sparse sources,a statistically non-sparse decomposition principle(SNSDP) is proposed for two observed signals.In this algorithm,the signals are divided into several intervals and the incomplete sparsity of the intervals is determined according to the correlativity of the sources.By utilizing different source recovery strategies for both the sparse and the incompletely-sparse intervals,the estimated sources can be improved.Simulated results indicate that,as compared with the traditional algorithms,the proposed algorithm greatly improves the waveforms of recovered signals and increases the signal-to-interference ratio.

    This paper theoretically analyzes the performances of opportunistic decode-and-forward relaying system with multi-relay in dependent but non-identical Nakagami-m fading channels.Based on the derived closed-form expressions for the moment-generating function of arbitrary signal-to-noise ratios,the closed-form expressions of the outage probability and the symbol error rate of the relaying system with arbitrary relays are obtained and further verified by simulation.The obtained closed-form solutions can be used to evaluate the performances of opportunistic relaying systems in Nakagami-m fading channels and provide theoretical references for practical engineering projects.

    According to the characteristics of cognitive radio networks,an automatic construction algorithm of cognitive radio networks,which combines the fish-swarm algorithm and the minimal independent dominating set algorithm in graph theory,is proposed based on the maximal network lifetime.The algorithm consists of two phases: one is to determine the swarm size and the other is to select the cluster heads.The former phase configures the parameters of cognitive users and determines the scope of the cognitive users affected by primary users with minimal energy cost,and the latter minimizes the energy cost in the communication and maximizes the network lifetime as well as the fairness of cluster head selection.Simulated results show that the proposed algorithm is of an total information complexity of O(n) and a time complexity of O(lg(D+n)) in the worst case,and that it is prior to the exi-sting MWMIDS(Maximal-Weight Minimal Independent Dominating Set) algorithm.Thus,it can be applied to the design of cognitive-radio routing protocol for the purpose of prolonging the network lifetime.

    In order to improve the transmission quality of video streams in multi-channel wireless multihop networks,a distributed cross-layer optimization algorithm is presented.In this algorithm,first,the channel allocation,interference,bandwidth allocation,delay allocation and video stream distrotion are all modeled.Then,based on the convex programming and the theory of Lagrangian dual decomposition,the total distortion of the video streams under end-to-end delay constraints is minimized by adjusting the source coding rate,the link bandwidth,the upper average link delay and the radio-frequency and channel allocation.Theoretical analyses and numerical simulations show that the proposed distributed algorithm can converge to the global optimum.

    In order to accurately calculate the series resistance of solar cells,an analytical expression of the series resistance is derived from the current-voltage characteristic equations of the single diode model of solar cells.The expression is in the form of Lambert W-function.By substituting the current-voltage characteristic curve and other model parameters into the expression,the series resistance can be accurately evaluated,thus avoiding the errors introduced by the commonly-used approximate methods.The accuracy and applicability of the proposed expression is validated by its applications to different solar cells in various working conditions.

    The rapid development of the Internet tends to cause transmission errors of digital signature in networks.However,the traditional digital signature schemes cannot correct the errors because these schemes never take error-correction into consideration.In order to solve this problem and to implement high-efficiency signature,an error-correcting digital signature scheme is presented according to the existing schemes.The proposed scheme is based on the thought of matrix and the knapsack problem of ultra-increasing vector.As compared with several existing error-correcting digital signature schemes,the proposed scheme,which effectively corrects the transmission errors of di-gital signature in networks,is of the least additional data and calculation load.The security of the scheme is also proven based on the random oracle model.

    This paper deals with the robust stability of polytopic-type uncertain nonlinear stochastic systems with distributed and discrete delays.In the investigation,the sufficient conditions for the delay-dependent and parameter-dependent robust stability of the systems are determined on the basis of the parameter-dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and by using the stochastic Lyapunov stability theory and the free-weighting matrix method.Then the stability criteria of the systems are proposed in the form of linear matrix inequality.A numerical example is finally presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

    In order to establish criteria for the controllability of general nonlinear stochastic systems,the sufficient condition for the complete controllability of a class of neutral nonlinear integrodifferential stochastic systems is determined by introducing a controllability operator,constructing suitable feedback control and using the Banach fixed-point theorem.The results show that the systems are completely controllable when the Lipschitz coefficients of nonlinear and neutral terms are both small enough.The applicability of the obtained results is finally verified by an example.

    In this paper,first,a target-tracking algorithm for distributed wireless sensor networks is presented based on the theory of extended Kalman filtering(EKF) estimation.Then,a collaborative scheduling strategy based on the neighbor node set and an AODV(Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector) topology control strategy using the backoff mechanism are proposed to implement the dynamic adaptive switching of task nodes and topologies in a distributed environment.Moreover,a prototype of target tracking equipped with MicaZ hardware nodes and ultrasonic sensors is developed to track and locate moving targets.The results verify the correctness of the proposed algorithm.

    In order to reconcile the competition conflict in the task allocation of sensor nodes during the multi-target tracking in wireless sensor networks(WSN),a novel task allocation method is proposed based on the fuzzy clustering and the multiple-elastic module(MEM) self-organizing neural network.In this method,first,the target number is estimated via fuzzy clustering.Next,an integrated performance index is presented to describe the tracking precision and the energy consumption in the multi-target tracking.Then,a self-organizing neural network with non-fully-connected elastic neuron-ring structure is constructed.Moreover,the elastic submodule of neurons are initia-lized by means of the nearest neighbor method,whose receptive field is finally adjusted dynamically according to the WTA(Winner Take All) principle so as to quickly lock the optimal node alliance and ensure an accurate multi-target tracking.Experimental results show that the proposed method effectively reconciles the competition conflict in the task allocation of sensor nodes during the multi-target tracking,avoids further increase in energy consumption and prevents any possible real-time performance degradation due to the competition conflict;and that,in the conditions of random uniform node topology and linear target movement,the proposed method is superior to both the nearest neighbor method and the conventional MEM neural network method,respectively with an energy consumption decrease by 48.2%~55.9% and 37.4%~42.5%,and with a calculation speed increment of 19.0%~27.4%.

    In order to effectively measure the particle weight in uncertain measurement,a novel particle filter algorithm based on particle weight optimization is proposed.In this algorithm,first,the redundancy and complementary information among particles is fully extracted by constructing and solving the confidence distance and the confidence matrix,and a new consistency weight to measure the mutual support degree among particles is presented.Then,the weight balance factor is used to combine the cost reference weight with the consistency weight for reasonably optimizing the particle weight.The proposed algorithm not only makes full use of the information of the particles set at the current time,but also avoids the adverse effect due to the error of prior statistical information,which improves the stability and reliability of particle weight measurement.Theoretical and simulated results show that the proposed algorithm is effective.

    As the empirical mode decompositon(EMD) can accurately recognize the structure of the original signal,this paper proposes a new feature extraction algorithm of handwritten Arabic numerals based on wavelet transform and EMD.In this algorithm,first,smooth contours of numeral image are obtained by preprocessing the maximum module of the G wavelet transform.Then,an EMD analysis is performed to decompose the normalized curvature sequences into their components,which produces more compact curvature features.Finally,the obtained curvature features are clustered and recognized.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm is superior to the classic feature extraction algorithm in terms of clustering effect and classifier design ability.

    In order to implement reliable peer-to-peer(P2P) computation in dynamic and unstable environments,a reliable P2P computing model based on the probabilistic redundant scheduling is established.In this model,the relationship among the success rate of P2P scheduling,the resource stability and the resource redundancy is used to obtain an optimal redundancy of task scheduling,improve the scheduling performance,and guarantee the reliability of P2P scheduling by probability.Moreover,a reliable probabilistic redundancy-based algorithm for task scheduling is designed,and the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm are validated by experiments.

    The existing wireless network standards provide multiple channel rates for data transmission.However,the multi-rate adjustment mechanism does not take into consideration the impact of the physical carrier sense range.This paper analyzes the interference model and spatial reuse of wireless networks and proposes an adaptive power and rate algorithm(PRA) that indirectly adjusts the physical carrier sense range by tuning the transmission power.In PRA,an appropriate channel rate is estimated according to the distance between communication node pairs,which helps to adaptively achieve high channel rate and suitable transmission power.Simulated results show that the proposed algorithm effectively improves the network throughout and the fairness,and reduces the power consumption.

    This paper deals with the second-order nonlinearities of the Boolean functions f(x)=tr(∑(n-1)/2」i,j=1bijxd) with n variables,where d=2i+2j+1,bij GF(2) and 1≤ij≤L(n-1)/2」.The derivatives with the maximal nonlinearity of f(x) are determined for odd n,and,for even n,the derivatives which are semi-Bent functions are obtained.Based on these derivatives with high nonlinerity,the tight lower bounds of the second-order nonlinearity of f(x) are given.The results show that f(x) with high second-order nonlinearity,can resist the quadratic and affine approximation attacks.

    The spinning process of a hollow part with triangular arc section is numerically simulated with the finite element software MSC.MARC,and the corresponding stress-strain distribution is investigated.Then,the forming quality affected by the axial feed rate of the roller and by the thickness-to-diameter ratio of the blank is investigated.Moreover,the causes of such forming defects as wrinkling,thinning and rebounding are analyzed,with the defect positions being also determined.Simulated and experimental results show that the wrinkling,thinning and fracture of the hollow part with triangular arc section mainly occur in the mouth region(i.e.,the blank flange that occurs during the forming process),the lower region of wall near the fillet and the small arc in the fillet region.

    In order to improve the density of metal parts fabricated via selective laser melting(SLM),the characteristics of the single-track molten pool were investigated,and the influences of scan speed and laser power on the pool width were discussed,with a direct relation between the width of powder-free region around the molten pool and the molten pool width being summarized.Then,the joint defaults of scan lines during continuous scanning were analyzed.Moreover,according to the forming characteristics of the single-track molten pool,a layer stagger strategy of laser scanning was proposed.Experimental results indicate that,by taking the proposed strategy,the density of metal parts increases to about 100%,the molten pools between inner layers and inter-layers are jointed compactly,and the tensile strength,elongation and micro-Vickers hardness of the parts reach 636MPa,15%~20% and 250~285,respectively.It is thus concluded that the proposed layer stagger strategy greatly improves the density and mechanical performance of metal parts fabricated via SLM.

    In order to implement the laser marking of non-uniform rational B-spline(NURBS) images,the NURBS expression of an explicit rational polynomial is derived,based on which the corresponding laser marking algorithm is investigated.Then,a control system for the laser marking of NURBS images is developed on the DSP/BIOS-based real-time embedded platform.Experimental results show that high-performance embedded platforms satisfy the space and time requirements of the algorithm and help to implement the laser marking of complex NURBS images.

    By considering the causes of image blur in machine vision,the point spread function(PSF) is described with the generalized Gaussian function,and an blurred edge model is established.Then,some samples are obtained from the edges of an image.Moreover,an integration rule is proposed to calculate the PSF of the image according to the estimated results of all the samples.Finally,the optimal PSF and sub-pixel level edge position are estimated via the least squares approximation.Experimental results show that the proposed edge detection algorithm is robust to noise due to the accurate estimation of PSF,and that the dimension error based on the sub-pixel-level edge detection is less than 0.5%.

    The inconsistent expression of CAx information leads to an "information island",which block the integration of data and functions of CAx systems.As NGGPS lays a good foundation for the integration of CAx data and functions,this paper presents a mathematical logical model for NGGPS applications based on the NGGPS theory.In the investigation,UML is used to analyze and model the NGGPS-based CAx integrated systems,and the object-oriented programming method is employed to implement the NGGPS information module of CAx integrated systems.Application results show that the designed module with full-featured information is clear in structure and easy to implement,and that it helps to easily realize network-based data sharing and collaboration operations due to its good scalability and portability.

    In order to solve large-scale job-shop scheduling problems,a hierarchical job-shop scheduling model is established based on the analytical target cascading for hierarchical optimization.Then,by taking two part-manufacturing cells as examples,the effectiveness of the model is verified.Experimental results indicate that the established model can not only solve large-scale job-shop scheduling problem but also dynamically and rationally arrange machines and workpiece-processing paths for each manufacturing cell according to the machining time and the workpiece number.

    In order to find a solution to the temperature rise of the main structures of micro space motors caused by lubrication,the temperature distributions of motor components in the status of rotating and stopping are computed based on the theory of SKF bearing friction moment,with the help of MSC.MARC.It is found that,in the rotating status,as the temperature of the inner rings is always higher than that of the covers,the lubricating oil may diffuse towards the covers,which results in the lubricity degradation of bearings and further results in the speed instability;and that a 8-W temperature compensation for the framework face may effectively cause the temperature of the inner rings to be lower than that of the covers.Simulated and experimental results show that,with temperature compensation,the motor rotates more stably and satisfies the speed stability requirements well.

    In order to rationally impose essential boundary conditions in the element-free Galerkin(EFG) method,a hybrid element method coupling the radial point interpolation method(RPIM) and the EFG method is proposed.In this method,the problem domain is divided into two parts: one contains the essential boundary and is solved by the RPIM,and the other is solved by the EFG method;and,a coupling is performed according to the relationship between the two above-mentioned element-free interpolation methods.Numerical examples indicate that the proposed method is easy to program,and that it can concisely and effectively process the essential boundary condition,with a computation accuracy as high as that of the EFG method.

    During the metal-powder injection molding, phase isolation between the binder and the metal powders often occurs, which may degrade the product quality in terms of density and hardness. In order to solve this problem, vibration force field is introduced in the molding. Based on the wax-based binder for the gas-atomized spherical 316L stainless steel powders with an average size of 10 μm, different powder-loading feedstocks are prepared, and the effects of vibration frequency and amplitude on the melt rheological properties and phase isolation are dis- cussed. Experimental results show that vibration force field helps to improve the rheological properties of melt powders and lengthen the flow length when the feedstock fills the Archimedes helical mold ; and that the variations of vibration frequency and amplitude can ameliorate the phase isolation of samples, especially at a vibration frequency of 10Hz and an amplitude of 0. 10mm.

    Transparent aluminum-doped zinc oxide(ZnO:Al or AZO) thin films with high performance were fabricated by reactive mid-frequency(MF) magnetron sputtering from Zn/Al metallic targets(Zn-to-Al mass ratio of 98∶2) with a dual magnetron configuration.Then,the influence of deposition parameters on the structure as well as the electrical and optical properties of AZO films were investigated.Moreover,the etching behavior of the deposited films and the structural characteristics of the texture surfaces were analyzed.It is found that(1) the substrate temperature plays a significant role in the growth of the films;(2) films with good crystallinity and tightly-packed columnar structure can be obtained at a proper deposition temperature,the minimum resistivity of which being 4.600×10-4 Ω·cm;(3) the moving speed of the substrate obviously affects the film growth,but no significant change in the deposition efficiency is observed;and(4) the film with obvious crystalline texture and columnar structure exhibits a regular rough morphology after being etched in diluted HCl,which favors an effective light trapping to meet the demand of thin-film solar cells.
