Abstract:

In this paper, with the help of Fluent, the incineration blending wastewater sludge in a pulverized coal combustion boiler in an electric power plant in Guangdong is numerically simulated and analyzed, and the distributions of the velocity field and the temperature field are discussed.Simulated results show that, with the increase of wastewater sludge dosage, the highest temperature in the furnace is 80~160 K lower than that of single pulverized coal combustion, and the height corresponding to the highest temperature increases by 180~800 mm.Experimental results indicate that, when the moisture content of the sludge is lower than 20%,the proper dosage of blended sludge should be kept within 10%.
