Stochastic Analysis of Axially-loaded Bars by Singular Points Outside Domain Method

Abstract: The stochastic analysis of axially-loaded bars by singular points outside domain method is presented‚in which the uncertainty of Young’s modulus is taken into consideration．Analytical solutions corresponding to different covariance structures and fluctuation scales are obtained．Based on this‚the effects on the stochastic results of covariance structures‚fluctuation scales and mid-point discretization of random field are given．
