Abstract: A novel de-spread re-spread smart antenna with equalizers is proposed．By using a reference signal equalizer and time domain equalizer the antenna array is mainly used to cancel the mult-i user interference while the time domain equalizer is mainly used to cancel the mult-i path interference．The expected user signal for training the antenna array and the equalizers is generated by re-spreading the demodulated expected user data．Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed smart antenna is better than that of the traditional de-spread re-spread smart antennas．
