Fatigue Test and Fatigue Reliability Evaluation of Wheel Loader Drive Axle

Abstract: : In order to design anti-fatigue and evaluate fatigue reliability of the wheel loading drive axle,the actual load torque spectrum and rotational speed statistics of the input axle of the ZL50G wheel loader drive axle have been obtained. Loading spectrum of intensified fatigue test,positive and reverse loading fatigue test and fatigue reliability evaluation of the wheel loading drive axle have been carried out. The results show that the fatigue failure of the driving axle occurs mainly in the spiral bevel gear of the main reducer,bending fatigue failure is the main form of spiral bevel gear and contact fatigue failure is the main form of wheel planetary gear. Under the condition of given working life,the relationship curve between the working time and reliability of the drive axle is obtained on the basis of very small sample fatigue reliability evaluation of the fatigue life test results.
