Abstract: Proposed in this paper is a mathematical model of the three-phase induction motor in the three-phase stator
winding ABC frame. In this model‚the variable values of voltage and current are just the true values of those in the
stator winding. This model is of the advantage of non-transformation of voltage or current between the converter and
the stator when applied to the motor control system including converter circuit‚and is of the same superiority as the dq
frame model.A simulation model for this mathematical model was then structured by Matlab/Simulink and was veri -
fied by an example. The results show that the simulation results accord well with the actual values‚which indicates the
validity of the proposed model.
