Algorithm of Multi-Channel Echo Cancellation by Means of Nonlinear Pre-processing

Abstract:

In the multi-channel echo cancellation.the nonlinear pre-processing is always used to overcome the nonconvergence of the filter caused by the strong correlation of input signals.How to choose a suitable nonlinear transformation coefficient is important to the assurance of acoustic quality and the cancellation of signal corelation. In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes a fuzzy logic-based method with little calculation increment to adjust the nonlinear transformation coeficient(α)that reasonably changes with the corelation of input signals,by which the communication quality can be effectively assured and the convergence of the filter can be greatly accelerated.The feasibility and superiority of the proposed method is verified by simulated results.
