Abstract:

This paper deals mainly with the way to create memorial places integrated with surroundings by sum-ming up the planning scheme of the memorial park of Ye Jian-ying. Based on the thoughts of integrating memo-rial places with surroundings, the natural environmental elements are fully considered and organically harmo-nized with the thematic spots of a memorial place, and the abstracted unique natural environmental characteris-tics are integrated with the functions of the memorial place, thus resulting in an organic and tight integration of the newly-built memorial place with the unique natural surroundings.
