Abstract:
Aiming at the Novozym 435-catalyzed transesteri cation of waste oil in a solvent-free system under ultra.sonic irradiation.the effects of ultrasonic power and radiation mode on the reaction rate and the operation stability were investigated. It is found that the reaction rate of Novozym 435.catalyzed transesterification of waste oiL is remarkably accelerated by pretreatment of enzyme with uhrasonic irradiation at 20 kHz.80 W for 30 min.and that Novozym 435 pretreated with uhrasonic irradiation is of good operation stability because its activity weakens little even after 10 batch operations.
