Abstract:

The single aerosol particle in the haze in Guangzhou, which was size-fractionated into the coarse part (radius R>1.0 μm)and the fine part(radius R≤1.0 μm),was collected on the electron microscope screen for morphological analysis using transmission electron microscope.By the comparison of the shape of single aerosol par-ticle before and after the haze, apparent difference is revealed, and good correlation between the particles with sa-tellite droplet structure and the haze is demonstrated. Moreover,an increase in the number of acidic particles dur-ing the formation of haze is observed.
