Prediction Control Technology for Active Power Filters Based on Gray Prediction

Abstract:

According to the inherent delay characteristic of digital active power filter(APF),a prediction control method for APF is presented based on the gray prediction,with the aim of effectively compensating the harmonic currents in nonlinear loads.Moreover,a gray prediction model for the harmonic currents is established by means of the gray system theory,which is then applied to a harm onic-compensated device for APF. As compared with the popular non-forecasting control method via simulated experiments,the proposed method is feasible.
