Abstract:

Modmed fine TiO2 powders were prepared by doping La2O3 via the sol-gel process.TiO2 photoc atalytic coafing was then prepared on a slide substrate, with ethyl silicate as the binder. The influences of some factors ,such as TiO2,content(mass fraction, the same below),active carbon and zeolite,on the photocatalytic activity of the coating were discussed. The results show that the coating is of most excellent photocatalytic activity when the
TiO2,content is 70%.that active carbon an d zeolite can improve the photocatalytic activity, and that active carbon has a greater enhancement on the photocatalytic activity, with an optimum addition of 10%(mass fraction)·
