Function Bar Code of the Stimulus and Response in Neural System

Abstract:

In order to investigate the code and the mode of the potential spike in a neural system,a mode of the function bar code of the external stimulus and the spike response in a neural system is constructed by using the WinnerLess Competition model in olfactory processing networks.This mode is based on the property that all poten-tial spikes exist at the same time or no spike exists in a neural cell.It connects the external stimulus with the spike
response in a limited function bar code form ,thus presenting a theoretical cognizable mode of the stimulus and re-sponse in a neural system. Moreover,a new method to study the potential spike mode and code is proposed,which can connect the code theory and the experimental data of the potential spike together.
