High-Frequency Micro-Arc Oxidation High Power Supply with Fully Digital Control

Abstract:

Proposed in this paper is a high-frequency power supply with fully digital control for micro-arc oxidation.The authors introduce the structure and working principle of the system,and describe the design of two-stage full-bridge inverter with PWM for multi-characteristic output in detail.With the adoption of fully-digital DSP control,the system can output multi-characteristic waveforms as desired.Experiment and operation results show that the proposed power supply fully meets the requirements of micro-arc oxidation and is capable of outputting waveforms with variable frequency and amplitude.
