Digital Watermarking Method for Mobile Terminal Based on Image Entropy Classification

Abstract:

In order to protect the copyright of multimedia data of mobile terminals,improve the processing ability and enlarge the memory capacity of mobile terminals,a digital watermarking method is proposed.In this method,a novel codebook is designed based on the image entropy classification,the priority of watermarking embedding is provided for complex texture image regions to obtain high-quality watermarked image,and the conventional search algorithm is substituted with the equal-average equal-variance nearest neighbor one to accelerate the coding.Experi-mental results show that the proposed method can not only improve the codebook quality but also save the codebook training time,and that it is robust to common image processing such as JPEG compression and cropping.
