Electrocatalytic Oxidation of M ethanol on Promoted Pt/C Catalysts

摘要: 研究了硅钼酸、磷钨酸促进型Pt/C类催化剂对甲醇的电氧化作用.采用循环伏安法和线性伏安法考察了催化剂的制备方法、添加剂、甲醇浓度、反应温度等因素对催化剂活性的影响,并用XRD和EDS技术对催化剂进行表征.结果表明:Mo含量(质量分数)为7.87% 的Pt-Ru-Mo/C催化剂的活性为Pt-Ru/C商品催化剂(E-TEK)活性的1.65倍:添加硅钼酸和磷钨酸可以使得活性组分的分散度提高,从而显著提高催化剂的活性和抗毒性能.

Abstract:

The electrocatalytic oxidation of methanol on promoted Pt/C catalysts,which were prepared using silico-molybedic acid or phosphotungstic acid as the promoter,was investigated.The efects of preparation methods,ad’ ditives,methanol concentration and reaction temperature on the catalytic activity were then studied by linear scan an d cvclic scan methods.and the catalysts were characterized by XRD and EDS.Th e results show that the Pt-Ru-Mo/C catalyst with the mass fraction of M0 0f 7.87% has 65% higher activity than the commercial catalyst Pt-Ru/C manufaetured by E.TEKCompany,and that the addition of silicomolybdic acid and phosphotungstic acid im-Droves the dispersion of active components,thus significantly enhan cing the catalytic activity and CO tolerance of the catalysts.
