A novel fiber concrete, namely, steel fiber-polymer reinforced high-strength concrete ( SPHC) ,is used in long-span bridge structures. In order to reveal its thermal fatigue performance and durability, the corresponding experiments and theoretical analyses of the real bridge were conducted based on the climatic conditions in Guangdong province,China. Then,at the room temperature, the thermal fatigue performance of SPHC was compared with that of C60 concrete which has static mechanical properties similar to SPHC. The results show that the proposed calculation formula can effectively describe the fatigue life and fatigue limit of SPHC considering service environment, and that,as compared with C60 concrete, the fatigue resistance of SPHC greatly improves.
