Abstract

Hemicelluloses-g-chitosan was prepared via click reaction under mild conditions and was used as a sup- porter to produce hemicelluloses-g-chitosan-palladium(0) catalyst through a simple reduction reaction.Then,the catalyst was characterized by means of FT-IR,TGA,SEM,XRD and XPS,with high catalytic activity for Suzuki coupling being revealed.Moreover,the yields of Suzuki reaction affected by the solvent type,the catalyst dosage,the reaction temperature,the base,the substrate and the recycle number were investigated.The results show that the yield is up to 84% after a reaction at 70℃ for 3h by using ethanol as the solvent and K2CO3 as the base; and that the catalyst can be recycled through a simple method and be reused at least five times,with a yield decreasing to 61. 6%.
