Calculation of Structural Hybrid Dynamic Reliability Under Multiple Interval Loads

Abstract

This paper deals with the prediction model of structural hybrid dynamic reliability under multiple intervalloads and with or without structural stochastic strength degradation.In the investigation,first,equivalent intervalloads are used to substitute multiple interval loads and are taken as random variables with uniform distribution.Next,the random variables and the structural random strength are equivalently normalized.Then, the structural dy-namic reliability under multiple interval loads is calculated by using the first- order second- moment method accordingto the stress- strength interference theory.Finally, three numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the rationa-lity,practicability and accuracy of the proposed method.
