Intelligent Selection of Mould Based on Clinching of Plate

Abstract:

First,the main parameters representing the quality of clinching points are explored in this paper,andthe geometry shape of the mould is parameterized.Next,the finite element simulation and the experiment are com-bined to discuss whether the multi-objective optimization of the mould key parameters affecting the mechanical pro-perties of clinching points is feasible.Then,an intelligent selection formula of the mould is proposed,by means ofwhich the geometric parameters of the mould for specific materials can be obtained by imputing only the plate thick-ness.It is found that the experimental results of the cross sections of clinching points accord well with the simula-tion ones,and the mould selected through the intelligent selection formula is of high-quality clinching points.
