用跟踪器报告虚拟声源位置的精度分析与验证

Accuracy Analysis and Verification of Virtual Sound Source Position Reported by Tracker

摘要: 虚拟声源定位实验是检验虚拟听觉重放的重要实验手段.文中设计和验证了一种利用跟踪器指示虚拟声源位置来报告其方向和距离的方法,并用计算机软件实现.经实验验证,该方法所测数据重复性好,15 个位置6 次重复测量结果对应的距离、水平角及仰角的标准差最大值分别为0. 4 cm、0. 6°、0. 5°; 显著性水平设为0. 05 时的方差分析结果表明所测数据准确有效.将该方法用于实际的虚拟声源定位实验,结果表明: 该方法与口头报告法相比更简便,结果离散性更小( 特别是距离定位时) ,且效率高,每次判断时间( 稳态与动态处理的平均结果) 由19. 8 s 降至7. 2 s,因而可降低虚拟声源定位实验难度,减少实验工作量.

Abstract:

The localization of virtual sound sources is an important approach to evaluating the performance of a virtual auditory display. This paper proposes a method to report the direction and distance of the perceived virtual source position using a tracker,and implements the method with computer software. The proposed method is then verified by experiments,with good repeatability of the reported position being achieved. With this method,the
standard deviations of distance,horizontal angle and elevation obtained from six measurements for fifteen positions respectively reach 0. 4 cm,0. 6° and 0. 5°. The variance analysis with a significance level of 0. 05 also indicates that the reported position is correct and reliable. Finally,the method is applied to practical virtual sound source localization. The results show that the proposed method,which is simpler than the conventional oral reporting method,helps to obtain localization results with low discreteness,especially for the reporting of distance; and that,with the help of the method,the judgment response time,which is the average of stable and dynamic judgment time,decreases from 19. 8 s to 7. 2 s. It is thus concluded that the proposed method can effectively reduce the difficulty and workload in the localization experiment of virtual sound sources.
