Abstract: One important problem in the stereo sequence is disparity estimation．We propose a new method for dispar-ity estimation in this paper‚in which the hierarchical complex lapped transform phase correlation is used．The results show that this method can overcome the shortcoming of traditional method‚improve the smoothness of the disparity map‚reduces the computation complexity of disparity estimation．
