Abstract: An improved POCS (Project onto Convex Sets) was proposed to solve the edge oscillatory effect caused by general POCS.By this algorithm‚the edge pixels of image were managed with special technique‚while the other pixels were modified‚thus the edge oscillatory of the restored image was eliminated.Contrastive experiment between the improved and general POCS algorithms was conducted which verifies the validity of the improved POCS algorithm.
