Calculation Model of Friction Force of Nano-Scale Rough Surface on the Basis of LJ Potential and Stochastic Processes

摘要: 基于接触界面势垒与摩擦接触面形貌的随机特性,建立了一种新的纳米级粗糙表面滑动摩擦力计算模型;利用该模型对满足严格平稳的同种摩擦副材料纳米级随机粗糙表面的摩擦力进行了数值计算. 结果表明:经该模型数值计算得出的平均滑动摩擦力与法向载荷呈线性关系;法向载荷与平均接触界面间隙呈指数关系;在相同界面间隙下,平均法向力与粗糙峰高度分布标准差呈线性关系. 计算结果与现有的研究结论相符,证明该模型是有效的、可行的;基于该模型,可根据接触界面的形貌分布参数、材料参数与法向载荷预测出平均滑动摩擦力.

Abstract: On the basis of the potential barrier of contact surfaces and the stochastic properties of contact surface morphology,a new calculation model of sliding friction force loaded on nano-scale rough surface is established.Then,the model is used to numerically calculate the sliding friction force of the same material friction pair with rig- orous stationary process.The results show that the normal load is linear to the mean sliding friction force obtained by the presented model and is exponential to the average surface separation; and that the average normal force in- creases linearly with the standard deviation of roughness height distribution at the same average surface separation.In addition,the calculation results are consistent with the existing research conclusions,which means that the pres- ented model is effective and feasible.With this model,the mean sliding friction force can be predicted according to the distribution parameters of contact interface morphology,material parameters and normal load.
