含Nb2 O5碲酸盐玻璃的热力学稳定性和光谱性质

摘要: 在掺铒碲酸盐玻璃中加入Nb2 O5以提高其热力学稳定性,测试了4种掺铒碲酸盐玻璃的热力学稳定性参数及其吸收光谱、荧光光谱.应用Judd.Ofeh理论计算了玻璃的强度参数Ωt ( Ω2=(5.99~10.38)×10 -20cm ,Ω4= (1.91~2.67)×10-20cm2 ,Ω6=(0.92~1.28)×10-20cm2 ),应用McCumber理论计算了受激发射截面.比较了不同组成对碲酸盐热力学稳定性和光谱性质的影响.实验结果表明,0.70TeO2-0.15ZnO-0.05BaO-0.10Nb2 O5 玻璃具有较大的受激发射截面(10.96×10-20cm2 )和荧光半高宽(67 nm),热力学稳定性良好,是一种理想的掺Er3+ 宽带光纤放大器用基质玻璃.

Abstract:

Nb2 O5was doped into the Er“ -doped tellurite glass to improve its thermal stability. The absorption spectra.fluorescence spectra and therm al stability parameters of the four types of Er3+-doped tellurite glass were in.vestigated.The Judd-Ofelt intension parametersΩt ( Ω2=(5.99~10.38)×10 -20cm ,Ω4= (1.91~2.67)×10-20cm26=(0.92~1.28)×10-20cm2 )were then calculated by means of Judd.Ofelt theory.Moreover,the stimulated emission cross section was calculated by McCumber theory ,and the effects of diferent compositions on the spectroscopic property and therm al stability of the glass were compared.The results show that the Er3 .doped 0.70TeO2-0.15ZnO-0.05BaO-0.10Nb2 O5 glass is of excellent therm al stability, exhibits a large stimulated emission cross section(10.96 X 10-20cm2  )and a broad full width at the half maximum(67 nm),and is a suitab le type medium glass for the broadband Er3+-doped fiber amplifier
